These scarves are woven from the wool of sheep grazing on Viljandi Castle Hill, 100% local produce. The wool was spun into yarn at Vilma building of Viljandi Culture Academy (University of Tartu)

Sheep have been kept on Viljandi Castle Hill since the beginning of the 20th century. History repeats itself and from 2017, the sheep are back to bring joy to people and cut the grass

Dimensions: 30 × 200 cm

The scarf has been woven by Karmen Kroonmäe, alumna of the Estonian Native Textile specialisation of the curriculum Estonian Native Craft of the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy
