One of the images imprinted on the memory of Eilve Manglus from her schoolyears in Tartu is that of the ancient massive trees in the enchanting darkness of Toome hill in between the starry skies and the city lights. For the series „Starry“, the jewellery artist has used the dignified oak wood and oxidised silver. For her, this symbolises the dignity of the university and the university city and the yearning of those who have moved away from it to come back one day.
