The book compiled by cultural historian Endel Priidel includes 90 poems about the university and articulates the poets’ attitude and sentiment towards the University of Tartu. The selection includes works of more than 40 authors from the times of Academia Gustaviana to the 21st century. Illustrations by Kaljo Põllu, who received the UT “Contribution to Estonian National Identity” award in 2007, add value to the book.
