The University of Tartu ring has a silk-matt silver surface with the grooved black portico of the university’s main building. Inside the ring, there is an engraving of the year of the founding of the university and room for engraving the wearer’s graduation year. The ring comes in two widths and 20 sizes

The ring is made to order. The UT e-shop forwards the orders to the jeweller on the last day of each month and the rings will be ready in 1.5 months. For instance, the ring ordered in the middle of March will be ready by mid-May at the latest
To order the ring, measure your finger circumference and tick the corresponding box. In Tartu, you can try on different ring sizes in City Gold (on the first floor of Tasku). Elsewhere in Estonia, you can measure your ring size in most jewellery shops
Along with the ring, also the pouch can be bought (will be added to the price of the ring). The dimensions of the black velvet drawstring pouch are 7 × 9 cm
The Cirrus studio connects the jewellery artists Merilin Pedastsaar, Kertu Tuberg and Maarja Niinemägi, visiting lecturers at Viljandi Culture Academy. The authors believe the symbolic jewellery of the university can be worn in any situation and along with other jewellery
