In traditional medicine, mallow flower tea is used to alleviate irritation and inflammation in the upper respiratory tract as well as inflammation of mucous membranes in the mouth, throat and the gastrointestinal tract.  

Ingredients: mallow flowers  

Preparation: Pour a glass of boiling water on 1–2 teaspoons of herb, let it steep for 2–5 minutes and strain.  

Storage: in a sealed container in a dark place

Description

Alexander Georg von Bunge was a world-famous botanist in the 19th century and the first professor of the University of Tartu to focus only on botany. He described more than 400 new plant species.
